Set Up Venue Bookings

Prepare a venue so guests can book sessions online.

Use this guide when you are preparing a venue to accept guest bookings.

Create a Venue

  1. Open the dashboard.
  2. Select Create venue.
  3. Choose the country where the venue operates.
  4. Choose the venue services and subscription plan.
  5. In Stripe Checkout, enter the admin email, registered business name, billing address, tax identifier, and payment method. Croatian businesses enter OIB directly in Checkout.
  6. Complete the remaining venue setup after Checkout returns you to Pista.

Pista creates the venue only after Stripe confirms that Checkout completed. Closing or abandoning Checkout does not leave a draft venue behind.

If you are signed out, Pista asks you to sign in before you continue.

Before You Accept Bookings

Before guests can book online, the venue must have:

  • Venue details: name, country, timezone, admin email, public email, public URL, address, and city.
  • Opening hours: at least one valid weekly opening interval.
  • Bookable supply: at least one active duration, one active station, and one public experience connected to an active station.
  • Pricing: at least one active positive price for a public experience duration.
  • Payment and compliance: confirmed seller tax and compliance setup, plus either pay-at-venue or online card payments.

Enable Pay at Venue

Use pay-at-venue when guests can reserve online and pay when they arrive.

To enable it, complete seller tax and compliance setup for the venue country. Pay-at-venue does not require Stripe onboarding.

Enable Online Card Payments

Use online card payments when guests must pay by card before the reservation is confirmed.

To enable it, the venue must be in a supported country, seller tax and compliance setup must be confirmed, and Stripe onboarding must be complete.

If online card payments are not available for the venue country, use pay-at-venue after the rest of the booking setup is complete.

Publish the Booking Page

Turn on the public booking page only after the venue has at least one real public offer guests can book.

That means:

  • The experience is public.
  • The connected station is active.
  • The duration is active.
  • The price is greater than zero.

Confirm It Worked

The venue is ready for online booking when the dashboard shows the booking page as available and the public page contains at least one bookable session offer.

Set Up Managed Simulators

If the venue uses Pista-managed simulator machines, continue with Set Up Managed Simulators.
